Who is responsible
JGSPACE LTD operates HypeCanvas and is responsible for the personal information it processes to run the site. For privacy questions or requests, email joshua@v2space.net. Our company and postal details are on the contact page.
Information used by the service
- Listing content you supply: project name, description, destination URL, and any uploaded image. Published cards and their ranking information are public.
- Card-management information: card IDs and a hashed management credential on the server. Your browser stores the credential used to manage a card.
- Order and event records: quoted amounts, payment and session identifiers, payment status, refund information, and a payment-provider customer identifier where supplied.
- Technical and usage information: request and security logs, IP-derived abuse-prevention identifiers, view/click counters, and a visitor identifier used for the online-presence feature. Our hosting provider also processes network information needed to deliver and protect the service.
- Messages and evidence you send to support, including reports, appeals, and refund requests.
Favicons may be retrieved from the destination website supplied with a listing. Payment details and billing information entered at an external checkout are collected by the payment provider. HypeCanvas does not receive or store your full card number.
Why we use information
We use listing, credential, and order information to provide the service and handle purchases or requests made before a purchase. We use security logs, abuse-prevention identifiers, usage counters, and report evidence for our legitimate interests in protecting the site, understanding its operation, and enforcing listing rules. We retain records where needed for accounting, disputes, or other legal obligations. If a use requires consent, we must obtain it separately; you can withdraw that consent.
Cookies and browser storage
The application uses local storage for your theme, card-management credentials, saved checkout attempts, and a presence visitor ID. Session storage helps avoid counting repeated card views in the same browser session. These are browser-storage features, even where no conventional cookie is used.
You can remove this information through your browser settings. Clearing management credentials can remove your ability to edit a card unless you have kept its recovery code. Browser settings may also block cookies or storage used by hosting or payment services. We do not currently embed third-party advertising pixels in the application.
Retention
We keep active listing data while needed to display and manage the listing. Removing a public card does not necessarily delete its order, audit, or backup records. Retention depends on whether information is needed for an active listing, accounting requirements, unresolved disputes, fraud prevention, or legal claims. Browser-held data remains until you or the application remove it. You may ask us to delete information we no longer need.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact joshua@v2space.net; we may verify your identity using proportionate information. Some records cannot be deleted immediately because they are required by law or for a live dispute.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local supervisory authority. The site is not directed at children, and under-18s must not submit or purchase listings. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
Listing ranking is calculated from bid and placement data. We do not use that ranking to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, or similar personal eligibility.
